So Much Going On

Traveling Show of the Wave Series, Books, Sold Work, and Pastel Workshop

Newberry Color Theory and Evolution Through Art
Newberry Color Theory and Evolution Through Art

Yesterday I got confirmation for two venues for my traveling exhibition, The Wave Series, sixteen seascape pastels based on my color theory system. I only came up with the idea for the traveling show yesterday. I will approach a few other other venues like University galleries and hopefully a museum or two. But already it is a success.

Renaissance man, Brett Holverstott, architect, author of Randell Mills and the Search for Hydrino Energy, countless articles, art critic, father of two, dabbler in sculpture and drawing, humanist, figurative art revolutionary, and now the proud owner of the Figure Ground Gallery in Seattle, Washington has booked the Wave Series for September 2nd, 2021.

Today I got the Kindle files for the eBook version of Evolution Through Art, from a formatting specialists Polgarus Studio out of Tasmania!

In the last four days my email has been beeping me with royalty notices from Amazon, crazy, I barely comprehend what passive income is, so it feels strange–instead of receiving notices of outgoing payments I am getting incoming. I am still not 100% certain that it is real.

This week I have four artworks going to new homes. And, it is a shame that I have to deliver three of them to dear ones in Monterey Bay and Carmel.

Lastly in a mere two weeks I am teaching a 4-Day Pastel Workshop in Idyllwild. The students are dear friends and we will have such a great time making art, seeing beauty everywhere, eating out, and sharing our world of experiences. Can’t wait.

  1. Michael!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is over-the-moon exuberantly fantastic news. There are all sorts of interconnected fireworks going on here. I LOVE reading that amazon is pinging you with royalty notices and that you’re working with a kindle formatting company in Tasmania…how cool is that? (Answer: Totally)

And your new traveling exhibition…I read Brett’s wonderful review of EoA on Medium, followed his various links and wound up buying his illuminating book on Randell Mills. I don’t think I was aware that he owned a gallery, but synchronicity doesn’t get much better. And to have Jennifer also host the exhibition at Scorpiesse…well, that puts the exhibit pretty close to the top of the world right there.

    Superb Congratulations, my friend! ✨🚀✨
